Private Journals Problems?

Hi folks: Journals Product Manager Susan hears that some people are having problems with private Journals -- people who are on a private Journal's roster are getting an error message instead of being able to read the Journal.

If this sounds familiar, please leave a comment with the address of your private Journal in Susan's blog entry about private Journals so the tech folks can take a look.

Thanks -- Joe

A lot of us are having problems with alerts and instead of sending a proper alert for entries all we get is a strange email saying something about a wireless device with no link to the journal. What's going on??!! Jeannette.   http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels

I get some of these too, like Jeannette said.  But also, having journal pages come up small & blank.

Folks -- if you have a private Journal that you should be able to see but can't, please give me or Susan the address so we can have someone take a look -- we need specific URLs so the tech folks can see.

If you don't want to post the address publicly in the comments, you can e-mail it to me at JournalsEditor@aol.com.

Thanks -- Joe

I do have a problem on my journal & something needs to be done about it & every person who blogs about their personal lives or something else to share should do an inquiry on that problem & it needs to be solved & I am not mad about that part of a problem.

Hi Nicole (and others with similar problems),

Sorry you've been having trouble -- I took a look at your blog and it appears normal. You might be having a client software problem -- can you please try using a standalone browser to see if that still happens -- here's my instructions on how to do that:

If it only happens in your AOL software, try clearing your browser cache and footprint -- here is how you do that.

Thanks,

Joe (posted & mailed)
