Tuesday BlogPlugs: Ozzy, Lifelogging & More

Hi folks -- here's another batch of blogplugs, from items that people have sent to me, as well as blog entries that they've labeled with the tag (click the tag link to see everything that people have labeled this way):

* In a bit of breaking news, Ames (a.k.a. TixGirl) reports that Ozzy Osbourne's summer tour, Ozzfest 2007 will be free.

She was at the press conference, so she has photos, too:

I'm not sure what the hot chicks have to do with anything, nor do I think it matters any. (Photo courtesy of TixGirl.)

* Deb has an online petition to save her garden and banana tree from her HOA and management company.

* Ron has tagged a bunch of items on both of his blogs, so rather than single out a single entry, I will just link to main pages: Sweet Madness and A Journey to my Father's House...

* Lastly, Scott Carlson, a technology columnist over at the Chronicle of Higher Education (an actual publication, with a dead-tree edition and everything) conducted a real-life experiment with lifelogging.

As I blogged last month, lifelogging is like blogging multiplied by 1000, where you try to record everything that happens in your life.

Well, for a few weeks, Scott wore a digital recorder around his neck (labelled with a "Warning, this conversation may be recorded" sign) and recorded... everything.

It's not a blog, or even an article about blogging (it's more like an entry about quasi-blogging or meta-blogging or something like that), but it's pretty interesting.

Remember, to plug a blog entry of your own, just stick the tag on it; I may not be able to get to write about everything, but with tags, I don't have to -- people can find other stuff that's been tagged, just by clicking on the link.

Thanks -- Joe
