Heya folks -- just a quick update on a few things:
* Comment Alert Nondelivery -- Your favorite and my favorite
issue is still going on. I am at the point where I am jumping up and
down, stamping my feet and threatening to hold my breath until this
gets fixed. I will keep you updated here (unless I pass out).
* The Face Wall (Gallery of Bloggers) -- If you're having problems seeing the top gallery on the AOL Blogs main page, please let me know. Be sure to tell me if you're on a dial-up or broadband (high-speed) connection. Also please let me know if you're having any trouble trying to submit a photo.

Broadband here. See the gallery. Don't get comment alerts. ;o) Don't pass out until after you've stomped your feet sufficiently and kicked whoever's butt needs kicked.

I can see the wall (dsl).. How often is it updated?? There is only two rows showing currently. I know I sent my pic in a few days ago lol so I am watching for it.. will they notify ppl if they get up there?
I have pretty much given up on my comment alerts. It is hit or miss with them. BUT I have started putting the blogs I read on the Beta My AOL page RSS feeds.. very cool. We need to encourage more aol journals to add the little +My AOL RSS icon in their About Me section.. I am lazy and hate having to keep manually adding people.

Here ya go.. nope.. I don't see the pictures on the "wall".. I see the place it goes and arrows but nada pictures..
and the "alerts".. yeah right.. hit and miss for sure.. i had 3 alerts this morning in email (they are all set for pop up and email) when i went to each journal I read there were actually 5 new additions not 3. Most of all my alert for "comments" to my own journal drives me nuts.. I rarely get them and have even had to go into "archives" only to find "new comments" there that i never knew i had.. makes me feel badly since i try to respond to them to let them know i appreciate the comment...
Gee, Joe.. hope you have a good day! .. lol.. (maybe it's time to ask for a raise huh?)

Just a note to let you know -- I'm on dial-up (sigh), but I do see the photos. I have to give them about 10 seconds to load, but they're indeed there for me.
Hey, Joe? Reading through the comments here, I wonder if perhaps it's a mix of dial-up and older AOL version playing havoc with the photos on the Face Wall. I see them and I'm dial-up (as I just commented). But most who don't see them are dial-up, it seems. I'm running WAOL 9.0 SE. Perhaps running 8.0 and/or lower won't work for the Wall?
See the wall fine (dial-up) but the few comments I do get I am getting three or four of the same one! Please don;t hold your breath too long. We need you!
fyi.. etvjackie... I wrote before .. i am dialup and don't see the pics but i have a brand new 9100 Dell and running aol 9 also...
I have dial-up and I never had problems seeing photo's! I see the photo Wall also, gee-I didn't even know I wasn't supose to! lol Maybe it's the EAILER additions that have the problems? If ppl do have the early add. can't they just upgrade? With no special soft ware I mean.....I think they should look into it either with Live AOL help or keyword: upgrade. I did that exact thing almost a year ago now. It's worth a try anyway.~Diane~

It is neat to put faces to journals.
But, I am having another problem.
I am not getting ANY alerts at all.
I know I am not the only one that
is experiencing this. No alerts for
comments or other journal entries,
that is.

well.. this is indeed interesting. I have a blog. weird huh? a teen has a blog? oh my! well after reading this i can only come to conclude that those pervs shouldn't be allowed on the internet and the parents are in need of training on how to be parents if there so friggin... i don't know the terms. but hey.
