Workaround for Editing/Deleting Existing Entries

Hi folks -- the Journals tech team is still working on the problem of editing your entries from your Journal's main page.

In the meantime, Journaler Knightbek (Bill, The Wildcat) found a workaround: You should be able to edit/delete existing entries by going directly to the entry (by clicking the "Link to This Entry" direct link) and clicking the edit (or delete) button from there.

We seem to be having problems with some of the Javascript-related functions on
Journals's main pages.

More info as we get it.

Thanks to Bill for the workaround.

Thanks -- Joe

Joe,
Just for your info: the same applies to viewing comments. Clicking the view recent comments links does not work either at the moment.

Hi -- yeah, we saw the comments display problem on the main pages -- it's part of the same problem, with the same workaround (go to the entry's direct link page).

Similarly, folks can't edit their "All About Me" area (All About Me is pretty much just a funny looking Journal-entry, at least to the database). Unfortunately, there is no similar workaround in this case.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks -- Joe (posted & mailed)
