Only public journals can
be migrated. The plan is that the user just prior to migration will
change the status of the journal to public. After which s/he will
migrate the journal and will be given a choice to make the Blogger blog
private at the end of the migration. The user of course has to come back to AOL Journals to revert the journal to private status again

LORI
you have GOT to be kidding me.
OMG. So, in the time it takes the PRIVATE J LAND PAYING CUSTOMERS to MIGRATE to wherever they are going THE TROLLS AND WHACKJOBS can copy and paste paste paste paste to their hearts content. WHICH THEY WILL.
WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT. THIS IS ALL A BUNCH OF CRAP AND NOT FAIR AT ALL, NOT FAIR. NOT FAIR.
SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE TO AOL BETWEEN A PRIVATE AND PUBLIC JOURNAL FREAKING MIGRATING TO ANOTHER SERVICE?
BULLSHIT
FYI....as soon as you switch your PRIVATE JOURNAL to PUBLIC, you will lose ALL COMMENTS in your private journal.
This is horrible!
Queeniemart,
The migration process should not take more than 5 mins for an average journal. And you decide when you want to migrate your journal.
One thing you can do to speed up the process is to get a gmail or blogger account right now.
