For your information, AIM Profiles will be hosted by Bebo as of September 15th. If you don't want that, you'll lose your profile altogether. Most likely, you've already lost it by the look of things. Visit this page to indicate consent or otherwise.

I have passed the word on my journal. Personally I think it is disgusting that they are doing this. It should also have given us the choice to opt in and not put opt out in tiny print. I want no part of it. Facebook, Bebo, none of the networking sites appeal to me . I have enough to do anyway.

And if not for you, how would we have known about this? Incredible. And, admittedly, confusing. I never did figure out the point of AIM profiles, vice us keeping our AOL profiles, anyway.
