John from the Alerts team reports that Journals New Entry and Comment Added Alerts should be working again; they fixed the problem and bounced (rebooted) the servers.

Thanks Joe, yours was the first alert I have had in several hours. Helen
maybe someday they can get a way to retrieve the missed alerts so we get the ones we missed. Will that be possible someday??????

Pharmolo: I'm not seeing anything different; try clearing your cache and reloading.
My78novata: I will ask the Alerts team about it, but I don't know if they can queue up Alerts like that. It would be nice, though.
