Hiccups in the SNS, Edit Entry Process?

Some of our editors are experiencing a
few hiccups when signing into and editing their Journals. I'm hearing that what
happens is that the editor(s) are being asked to sign in repeatedly and seeing
their screenname as "Journals."

Then they are occasionally experiencing a magical
phenomenon known as The Incredible Vanishing Update
Button.
Apparently, the Update buttons appear on single entry pages, but not on the main Journal page.

I'm told this is a result of some code changes in the R8 install this
morning -- workarounds that solved one problem but ... you follow me here.

Are any of you
guys out there in J-Land having this problem? If so, please either e-mail me or
leave a comment
describing the situation in as much detail as you
can.

Jeff,
I get referred to as Journals when checking other blogs. No problems on NorthernTrip.

So far, things are working good over at my journal.  But, oddly, I just noticed that, on your journal, it stated you had 1 comment on this entry when you actually had five (it should be six including this one).

So, you know that ominous chill you felt dribble down your spine?  JUSTIFIED!

Oops...  It looks like I can't count either.  THIS should be number six.

Don't worry.  Tomorrow we're learning numbers, shapes and the letter "J" in school.  And, Wednesday is Snack Pack day, so I will be blogging about delicious pudding after recess.  Hooray pudding!

Oh, I should add that I was working in IE from outside the AOL app.  And once I added the entry, the edit buttons finally appeared on my journal.  I think it also admitted I was Mavarin instead of "Journals" at that point.

having trouble adding my regular entry.  That section giving me access to the "add entry" doesn't seem to come up on my journals page.  Today is the first day that this has happened.  Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi... the problem I am experiencing is the one with the edit-remove-delete buttons in my blogs. They do appear all the time even if my blog is open from another scree name (ie: my children's screen names), which means that if they wanted to change the content of my blog when visiting it, they could. I believe even strangers would be having this faculty to change my blogs if wanting for these buttons appear on the screen and give them this facility. The problem for me remains in the fact that there is no more descrimination between the owner and others.
hope it makes sense.
