Friday Blogplugs

Hey folks,

Earlier this week, the Journals team installed the R14 release
which added some pretty nice features, including the ability for
multiple writers to share a Journal. We'll show you how to use this
feature, look forward to it later this week.

It's Friday and I've got some fresh blogplugs for everyone to enjoy:

* Jimmy taunts me with his Miami sunshine, at a comfortable 72F. (Today's high temperature was 46F.)

* Beth has shares six pictures of a gathering of birds and a few sunsets.

* Specialadyfink shared her opinion about the option to add writers to her Journal. She later followed up and created a Journal that everyone can contribute to.

* Ellie said goodbye to her son, who headed out for military duty and finishes with a nice story written from a soldier's daughter.

* Krissy affirms that orange cranberry sauce is an instant Thanksgiving hit.

* Sugar warns
not to put out a kitchen fire with water. She includes a link to a video explaining why. Holiday cooking is right around the corner, this video makes a very
timely arrival.

That concludes this week's blogplugs. Don't forget, you can browse all the blogplugs on Technorati any time!

Have safe weekend folks!

Hi Linda,

I can see your journal with all the entries. However, one of pictures is showing up all black. This is probably due to an AOL Pictures server malfunction.

The reason why the same picture shows up in the Edit mode is because it is being served up by a different server. We will look into this and try to restore the server functionality. You can also try to give it a different animation, just to make it go to different machine.

Thanks for blogplugging the orange cranberry sauce.  I was hoping that people will get a chance to see it in time for Thanksgiving, so that they could make it.  Thanks!

I read the other entries that were blogplugged.  I think the idea of having a Shared Journal is fascinating.  I have already written an entry in one (as I belong to three Shared Journals).  I was wondering, as I have not gotten any comments back, I was wondering, who do the comments come back to?  The person who set up the journal, or the person who posts each particular entry?  Just wondering how it works, thanks!

Hi Guys have spent quite a lot of time in the new chatroom and enjoyed it very much and thanks to those who spent quite a lot of time explaining the various features.

This is a plug for the Tech people:

Just discovered that when I save an entry revision or even cancel
a look-see at an entry/ I am kept at that entry instead of being sent
back to where my journal currently is.  Kudos galore!
