Weekend Blogplugs - 6/16

Hi folks,


A busy weekend for me, hence a late edition
of blogplugs. Let's see what we got for
'plugs.

* Beth
is unhappy
with Fox news for their treatment of Obama and his
family.

* Sherry
gives us details of the family trip to the museum. She writes
that with the onset of summer, she is walking
a tight rope between , kids, hubby , her Dad and life. Maybe
that is why she is handing out "strong
woman" awards

* Kasee
informs us about an effort send the largest single shipment
of care packages to U.S. troops in history.

* Sugar is
handing
out the last of the "Dad" tags. She shares
a depresssing clip of how abandoned animals are treated.

* Connie's
mom has moved in with her and she shares
details of the
move.

* Jimmy
thinks he needs to go back
to training camp as he has had difficulty handling 2 late
nights.

* Paul has
been busy playing requests for people from near and far. This week he
chronicles (amongst his many entries) Na
Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye, Breakfast
at Tiffanys/Henry Mancini/Audrey Hepburn and the inimitable
Elvis.

* Lisa feels
like writing again and she spills
out her fears, hopes and frustrations.


* Indigo in a
conversation, trying to pacify
her dog, Pickles, who is annoyed because he was given a
bath.

* Krissy has installed a
hit counter from sitemeter.com on her blog and it is giving her a lot
of insight into where her readers are from. She was surprised
that she has  readers in Austria and even
India.

* Marie writes that we should
look
inwards and remove anything that comes betweeen us and God.
She believes
that when we see something in ourselves we don’t like and
move towards changing it –we are
converted.

* Tawyna's

* Betty believes
that we should show patience in waiting for the Lord just as her dog
Koda's shows patience while waiting for his master to return home.


* Robin is
recovering from surgery at home and gives us a report on some of the

well goodies she has received. Editor's note: Robin, our team
wishes you a very speedy and full
recovery.

* Laini writes
about the times before she and Mark got hitched. Shavuot
is the Jewish holiday celebrating the harvest season in Israel and she
has some pictures
here. Here she gives us the recipe
for their favorite
salad.
