Hi folks,
A weekend Blogplugs post this week since I
could not get to it on Friday. I did not hear any complaints about the
Journals update this week. So, no news is good news :).
So, onward to Blogplugs..
* Sunnybethe has been
busy playing
Mama to her kitty. Her "history
in a nutshell" entry for May 12 is about the birth of Edward
Lear (the person who made limericks
famous).
* Connie
exchanges
limericks with Sunnybethe. She dedicates
her Memorial day post to her dad and Bob's
parents.
* Paul went
to see the show "Jersey
Boys"
and gives it 5 stars. It is a true story of Frankie Valli & the
4
Seasons. He also takes us back in time with some background about the
group. Good stuff!
* Indigo
writes that the next time you look in a mirror don't look for
what's wrong, look
for your character.
* Ken reminds
us of the significance
of Memorial day and urges us to support our troops by making
a donation.
* Celeste
mentions that her grand child Brook
has a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon
Do.
* Elayne's
thoughts about Memorial
day is conveyed in pictures.
Another tribute
from her to the fallen and currently serving in the armed
forces. Mark, Elayne's husband is a Civil Affairs Officer in
the military now stationed in Iraq. She explains the role
of a Civil Affairs
Officer.
* Ken writes
about the potential of extracting oil
from the tar sands up in Canada. Editors note: From what I
read, it is an expensive process, but with oil at $130 a barrel it
probably makes economic
sense.
* Donna goes
camping and has pictures and stories of the
place.
* Monica
displays her photographs of gum
art (it is what you think it
is:)).
Bull
Canyon Trailhead. She has some very pretty pictures of the
place. Her cactus gardenisblooming. She is enjoying it and wants to
share
pictures of
it.
* Betty's dog
Koda is not very social and she has an unintentional
run-in with somebody who had 2 dogs. Betty is excited
about seeing her friend and her
baby.
* Linda
writes after a long gap and talks about her practice walk for
"The
Race for Life" event, family matters and hearing a cuckoo in
George Mansions.
* Krissy
wants to share a story of her first
wedding anniversary with John. John speaking about their (his
and Krissy's) third
anniversary. Here
she writes about an inspiring message about overcoming
Survivor's Guilt.
* John gives
readers a snapshot
of his mom's life.
* Jerry is
new to blogging and has started a journal called "Positive
Words of the Day". He updates it
everyday.
* Jack has a
journal called "BluePrintToReality"
(the truth about God's word and common
sense).
Contests &
Trivia!
* Weekly
sentence with Val. This week's letters are
TASBTD.
The winners are here.
This week's letters are NSWHSB.
* Monday Morning
Question with Krissy. Where did you first find out
about AOL blogs/journals, and what made you want to start
one?
Lights,
Camera
and
Action!
* Krissy's
JLand Photo Shoot entries
for the subject "Say it with Color".
*
Marie's AOL
Community Photo Challenge, entries for the subject
"Magic Hour", judged
and fun.
