Guest Editor Picks 6/27/08

Howdy!

My J-Land name and Journal is Bucko.  My real
name is
Ken, I am a 45 year old Project Manager, and I work at a Nuclear Power
Plant.  Bucko comes from my true personality by nature, a
clown, some might even say a smart alec :o).  I have really done some clown
work (my character is a hobo clown, occasionally down on my luck,
but eternally optimistic :o).  

I
am amazed and honored to
be this week's Guest Editor. A big thank you to Vish and Magic Smoke
for taking a risk on me. In addition, I am confident
I would not have had this opportunity if it was not for
my bride of more than six
years, Beth, over at Nutwood Junction.  As
you can see from the
picture at the left,
she has a similar sense of humor as I do!.  But enough about
me, on with the show!  The following five journals are ones
that I have set on my alerts, because I truly do enjoy keeping up with
their J-Land
journeys.  I hope you will visit and become regular readers as
well.  You can find a few other
favorites ofmine (Indigo
and Sheria) on the
sidebar of my
Journal.

Joyce, from My
Extremely Simple Life, is retired and
shares with us
the happenings
and thoughts from
rural Tennessee.  She also creates some mighty fine
"tags".  Stop
by for a look and a snag :o)  A truly sweet
person.

Dan, of Slapinions, is
from Milwaukee and
has opinions on many things, ranging from fatherhood, sports, movie reviews, and anything
else that strikes his fancy :o)  My impression is an all
around NICE guy!

ChippertuesWorld
is a new
journal
that was recommended to me several months ago, based on an entry
I had made.  13 years ago, she was in a car accident,
and that left her paralyzed from the chest down.  She chose to
make the best of it and be positive; not bitter and mad.  Stop
by to encourage her as she maneuvers her way through life
:o)

Mark, from Stars
Like Grains of Sand In My Pocket, has
had some tough times
with relationships, but I think you will find out by reading him that
he is a true romantic :o)  Read about his introspections as he
takes his life journey.

The Wildcat's
Lair, if I can implore J-Landers to visit a journal, it is this one.  Wildcat is a
true "journalist",
and I have nothing more to say except please go and experience the
antics of Frank and Wildcat, and make sure you leave a comment to
encourage him to keep the adventure
alive :o)

Having this opportunity to hi-lite some journals, I made to take the time to
look for some journals that I have not read before, and that may not
have been on our J-Land radar
screens.    I found two journals that I have
started to frequent over the past several weeks, and I hope you will
enjoy them as well. 

First is Claudia
Thoughts.  She writes her
thoughts, and is a
realist.  She also has a flair with the camera, won't you stop
by and take a peak?

Second is Mrs.
Linklater's Guide
to the
Universe.  Learn some interesting facts
about life in the Windy City, which the Mrs. Linklater clearly
loves.
