Hi folks -- I've gotten a few panicked reports from Journalers that as many as a month's worth of Journal entries are "missing" from their Journals main pages.
However, when I take a look at their Journals, I see all the entries.
This leads me to believe that something screwy is going on with Journals, but that your entries are not actually missing (that is, they're still in the database, they haven't been deleted or anything).
I have alerted the Journals tech team and will report back when I hear something.
If you are experiencing this problem, please let me know via e-mail or in the comments below, with a link to your Journal.
[Update, 7:28pm: The Journals folks "failed over" to the backup database and then "failed back" -- your missing entries should be back. They're still checking to see why this happened. Please leave a comment if you're still seeing a problem. Thanks -- Joe]

At times I cannot access Journals and neither can I add pictures (again).

They were but, they're back. Not too shabby for all the money I now have to spend for AOL since you guys started charging all the former employees of Warner Bros. Grumble! Grumble!
I made an entry this evening and it seems to be missing at the moment. Sigh....
Thanks Joe. Mine disappeared and then reappeared. I admit I'm over here in a snippy mood but that's not your fault and thanks for jumping on it that fast.

Still something screwy going on...I just tried to read comments on my journals, and I am getting the "journals unavailable" message. I have gotten it off and on all afternoon while trying to access my journal, as well as other journals. I was getting the same message while trying to post comments, and after checking back, and repeatedly trying to save, the comments I wrote finally saved...but twice! Jae

Screwy is putting it lightly! I get alerts and click to go view and it tells me journals are not available. Thinking I could possibly running into deleted entries again I go to the actual journal and low and behold there is the entry. Sometimes I can comment sometimes I can't. Sometimes my journal entries are there sometimes not. Very random issues on and off since I logged at 5:15 :(

I just checked, mine all seem to be there but I did get that blue screen on a few alerts saying journals not available. Please, not again! ::rolling eyes:: Help us Uncle Joe! :-)
Actually, Star Jones decided to take a bunch of journals with her when she left The View. Dang, she's vengeful.
My journal has been deleted twice this week but I did not do it. I have no idea why. AOL told me that someone most likely stole my password which very well could be likely but I am wondering also if it could be because of all of this?

Hi -- I will have to ask the tech folks to be sure, but it seems unrelated (if there were widespread Journals deletions due to database problems, there would be alarm bells all over the place.)
