Hi folks -- I have a ton of other entries that I
should be doing (mostly regarding stuff that's actually
interesting), but I couldn't let this one go; it's in response to blogger John's latest
Body Parts-Themed Photo Shoot:
This is a photo of my foot. My right foot, to be precise. I snapped it at the end of December, the morning after I'd
stubbed my toe pretty badly on a side table that
jumped into my path.
For your sake, I've
desaturated the photo, so it's black-and-white.
Thanks -- Joe

OUCH!! Helen
yikes!....that toe is all but screaming for some Tylenol PM
But since I am the queen of toe stumping....I have had worse! Try dropping a big ass can of Aqua Net hair spray on your big toe and see what pretty colors that makes.

For all readers...I mentioned my stubbed toes with my foot surgery in my entry below but I forgot to add...I found out if it bruises it is 99% broken they tell me. Now yours being by the nail may just be the nail but if it was lower. They do take broken toes serious!!! I was told if if my chip didn't heal they may have to go in and take it out if it was causing me pain. They don't just tape the toes together like many people believe. That can actually pull the fracture away from the rest of the toe. They tape it anchored to the foot more. I'm so glad I have an awesome podiatrist...I don't want to have to know all this! :-)
um....kinda ewwwww
Looks painful. Thanks for desaturating the photo.
You have chubby toes.
Ouch, that looks like it HURT. How is the toe now? Bad, bad table!

I can think of no one else who deserved it more.
Oh that's nothing!!!! I work in a podiatrist office and I have seen far worse. I assist in surgeries in the office. It's pretty cool to watch.
