Hi folks -- so, this photo here is in the spirit of blogger John's Weekend Assignment, but it doesn't quite fit the bill (I just realized I had posted a string of entries without any pictures, so I wanted to break up the monotony):I took two of the signs adorning my cube and put them together. I used a 200x150 version of this photo for the Weekend Assignment promo on the Journals main page.
Monday is a holiday to honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., so I'll check back in with you on Tuesday. Have a great weekend.
Thanks -- Joe

Joe, how about addressing this issue with me, as I am sure there are many others in the same position. I have been losing my counter every other day for some reason, then I have trouble reaching the hometown page, have to go thru IE..what is wrong, any idea??
Thanx,
Larry

Dear Joe,
hi! I wrote an entry about Martin Luther King:
http://journals.aol.com/lurkynat/Interface/entries/2007/01/15/martin-luther-king-day-lets-celebrate-our-hero/1374
I'm hoping that people will write what importance his life had for them.
Best Reguards,
natalie
I have the same problem as one of my fellow commentors (if that's a word). My hitometer (if you will) or number of visitors counter has decided to reset itself to zero. That's 000000000000000000000000000! I need this particular item to have a basic idea of who stopped by and reactions to daily subject matter. Instead of souping up your motor, Please make sure the vehicle has tires. I can be reached at:

Thank you
Jim -- Please see my tutorial on how to change the number on your Hit Counter (it's linked in from the sidebar of my Journal's main page):
http://journals.aol.com/journalseditor/magicsmoke/entries/2005/09/20/using-file-manager-to-fiddle-with-hit-counters/622
I will try to get a tutorial on how to integrate third-party hitcounters with your AOL Journal -- the Hometown hit counter is prone to problems, especially under traffic -- I'll try to explain the benefits and tradeoffs with using both types of counters.
Thanks -- Joe (posted & mailed)
You also shouldn't mine jars.
