Hi everybody...just checking in, not much to report. Journals Search
seemed to be acting up a little bit for me this afternoon, but by the
time I raised some flags with the appropriate tech folks (responsiblity
for Journals Search is spread across a few different groups), it seems
to have settled down.
No alarms had been triggered (there are a bunch of different automated
processes that watch for problems of various types), so it might have
been a local thing.
Maybe it was related to the solar flare warning that Scalzi mentioned in his blog.
Talk to you later. -- Joe

Yeah could be or maybe John was just looking for an excuse to avoid the Tuesday phone entry. However, a little digging did indicate that in the past huge solar flare events have caused some technical and electronic havoc on ol Terra.
Looking forward to getting some tips to help my poor slovenly brain catch up to the 21st Century.

This is a great journal idea!
"behind-the-scenes look at the magic smoke inside Journals (& to tell you when some gets out)."
Let's hope it ALL doesn't get out. Although, on this side, even a minor seepage feels like a major melt-down.
My hope is that you'll update more often than the last attempt at keeping us "informed." You know, even on the "no news day" just to let us know you're still smokin'.
Welcome! :-) ---Robbie
Hey Joe -- Have alerts gone a little flukey? I know there's a new entry in a journal I should be getting alerts for, but I didn't get the alert. :(
nzforme -- nothing specific we've heard about entry alerts that we've heard of last night. If it keeps happening, post a link to the journal in question. Thanks -- Joe
I noticed that the other day, but seems to work now. Thanks :-)
